• Welsh cakes - must in Wales, unfortunately my mother makes the best ones from my grandmothers receipe so it’s unlikely you’ll get to eat the best, but they are all worth a try
• **Cockles & lava bread** - very popular in the South - if you like seafood give it a go - not one for me
• **In the Welsh wind** - make your own gin custom to your tastes - really good experience if you like gin - you tailor your own and walk away with a bottle of it

  • Cardiff shopping - start at St Davids 2 [map] and work your way outwards St Davids is the best and cheapest parking too

  • Castell Coch [map] - Fairytale castle - outside the city near just off the M4
